
Safety Review For The Radioisotope Thermal Generators on NASA's Cassini Space Vehicle
For the Safety Evaluation of the Cassini Mission, Dr. James led the assessment of doses to populations in Florida which could possibly result from accidents during the launch phase, or to global populations which could possibly result from accidental re-entry of the Cassini vehicle into the earths Atmosphere.

Contribution to USEPA's Study of Air Quality Criteria for Particulate Matter
Dr. James contributed to Chapter 10 entitled "Dosimetry of Inhaled Particles in the Respiratory Tract", a part of the USEPA's scientific evaluation of Air Quality Criteria for Particulate Matter and the scientific basis for review, and revision, of the U.S. National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQA).
